Eternal Destiny Indicator

Speaker: Joshua Collier | May 19, 2019

On judgement day, we will be judged according to our deeds, not what we think about ourselves. Who/what is determining whether we pass or fail, is NOT ourselves. There are four categories, that will be used to determine our eternal destinies (heaven or hell). Jesus says that many people will be in hell, because they looked only to themselves, and not these other categories, when evaluating their own lives.

(Jer 17:9-10; Deu 29:18-20; 2 Co 10:18; Mat 7:21-23)

Closing Contemplation: How are you evaluating your life? Do you have confidence in your faithfulness to God because of what you think, feel, or believe about yourself? Or are you looking outside of yourself, to those things/people that God says you should be looking to, in order to objectively evaluate if you are living a faithful life, one worthy (2 Th 1:5,11; Rev 3:4-5) of heaven?
