Our Mercy Ministry

“There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold” – Acts 4:34

Welcome to Project 434!- Our Mercy Ministry

We are the benevolence ministry of Christ Covenant Church. Our name originates from Acts 4:34 where we are told that within the first church, “there was not a needy person among them”. This text also provides us with the focus and direction of our mercy ministry. Our our mercy ministry exists to see that all who are members of the Body of Christ are cared for not only spiritually but also physically and financially. Since it is the through the generous donations of others in the church by which this was accomplished in the first church, so it is also among us. We look to other Christians – those in the Body of Christ not currently in need, as the primary source of support. They are the ones God has deemed responsible for this incredible privilege and task.
